The Final Daily Dose of Reality Monday Minute

Monday Minute

This week's questions are all written by my co-host for the week, Michelle from My Pixie Dreams. If you all remember, Michelle is Monkey's mother from Mission Monkey.

1 - Who is your favorite childhood superhero?

2 - List something you have done for pure shock value.
Hmm...that would probably be any of the colors in my hair during college. Or maybe the eyebrow piercing.

3 - What is the most recent thing someone has said/done to you that left you picking your jaw up off of the floor.
I would say a few anti-adoption blogs I've come across recently. I was floored that there are people who honestly think that abortion or parenting when you don't want to parent are the only viable solutions to an unwanted pregnancy.

4 - Do you have a moment where you gained clarity about your life?
The moment Pie was born, or probably more accurately the moment she was placed in my arms. In that exact instant I wanted so much, but more than anything I wanted to be the parent Pie deserves.

5 - What are you doing to achieve your biggest dream?
Everything I can! I'm working on some things (which you guys will find out about soon) that will hopefully allow me to work from home and be with my beloved Pie all day.

Holy crap, I did the eyebrow piercing too!
Awe! I want to be a SAHM!!!!

I got my belly button pierced after my parents kicked me out.
Good luck with your plans!

I’m your newest follower. I would like to invite you to the Follow Us Monday Morning @ Frugality Is Free @ Frugality Is Free. It is a great place to meet, connect and expand your blogging network, and you can even win a free ad space.
That moment when you first hold them is the best isn't it. I can't believe there are actually 'anti-adoption' blogs out there...INSANE people.
I had my eyebrow pierced too! Twice. One of them will actually still go back in. I don't wear it though because after awhile I realized how idiotic it looked.
Anti-adoption blogs? Really? I just don't get people AT ALL!! They would rather someone parent who has no desire to be a mother and/or father? That makes NO sense! Then one of those people who has NO desire to parent is the same person we hear about on the news who ends up killing their innocent child. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY! :)

I hope your plan comes to fruition and you get to be a SAHM! That's what I hope to get to do one day too! :)
Love your answer for #4!!

I hope your plan to SAH works!! I work 2 days a weeks, so I get a small dose of leaving Bailey and it makes me sad, so I can imagine everyday...

I can not believe the anti-adoption blogs, but I guess you can find anti-everything everything.... It boggles my mind!!
Anti-adoption?! Why would someone think adoption isn't an option when you are unable to parent? I think it is the most bravest decision you can make as a parent!

I am so excited to hear about your new changes. :)
