Damn Spatial Awareness

So when I went and got my tattoo in January it worked really well with the shoes I had on. For some reason it never occurred to me that I only wear actual shoes about 4 months of the year...if that. The rest of the time I'm in flip flops. And damn if my poor spatial awareness didn't get me again. The actual shoes I had on, and had to wear for a little over a week after the fact since it couldn't be covered = good stuff. And the shoes I wear the other 2/3 of the year = not so good.

Ignore the desperate need for a pedicure and look instead at the fact that the flip flops go directly across the tattoo.

So now I'm on the hunt for (cheap) sandals that don't cover my little flower up. Wish me luck!

Poor HK getting covered...I felt like such an idiot when I broke out the flops!
I love your tattoo! Good luck on the shoe hunt! :)

It's Pie's birthflower, and a pink one means a mother's undying love. It makes me smile to have a little reminder of her with me all the time.
Hit up Kohl's if you have one! I'd hate it if I had to cover up something so damn cute!

Oh I love Kohl's. I can get into lots and lots of trouble there!
Good Luck! And you have given me some good food for thought as my next tattoo is going on my foot. ;-)

Hooray! I can save someone else from my mistake!
Ahhh man! I never would have even thought about something like that. Dig the tatt anyway!

Clearly me either...d'oh!
Try Old Navy. I feel like their sandals do go up as high on my foot. Good luck on your search!!

Excellent....I'll check them out.
Ooh, spatial awareness issues. Thats a tough one. I myself suffer from depth perception problems. It usually manifests itself when I try to park my minivan.

Yeah...I'm near sighted in one eye and far sighted in the other so I'm constantly running into furniture and door frames...I should have guess I would do something like this too!
oh no!! there are so many cute gladiator type sandals that go between your big toe & other toes & then strap around your ankle. i'd bet that would work! :) GL!

Gladiators here I come :)
You could go with Chinese slippers all year; that'd take care of the problem! Will be interested in how you solve this problem.
