Lost footing

I'm not sure, but lately I've lost a step...or 15...I think I've veered away from what this blog was at one point. As a result I think I've lost followers/readership/whathaveyou.

And it's not the numbers that bother me, it's the idea that I'm losing what drew people in the first place. I don't know that I write much that's meaningful, or helpful, or impactful anymore.

So I'm coming to you...my loyal lovies...what do you want to see? What do you want me to write about? Infertility? Adoption? Pie? Being a working mom? Crafts? Tell me and we'll see what happens.

While you think about it, I leave you with pictures of what happens in our house when the toilet paper doesn't do as it's told.

What I always want people to write about is their own lives and what currently is interesting them. Trying to write what readers want is a lost cause before you begin: some people will say "More about the baby!" and others will say "Less about the baby!"---and so on for every subject you ever write about. If you write about whatever you feel like writing about that day, you'll attract readers who want to read what you write---a far easier thing to keep doing!

Girl, I like it all. I think there are times that comments/readership... whatev... is just down. I've noticed a lot of people have the bloggy funk lately. I had it for a looooong time. Even now, I'm doing good if I post once or twice a week.

meh i've lost a couple too. whatevs. i'm not going anywhere and that's all that should matter. ;) :D seriously, just keep it real and it's all good to me.

I agree with your first commenter....you'll have people say more of this, less of that, and then you'll have others say less of this, more of that. You can't really win when trying to please other people (hmmmm, perhaps I should take my own advice! :)) but I love your blog, I LOVE all the pics of Pie, and just keep writing from your heart. I always wonder why I lose a follower or two (and probably care too much when that happens) but clearly they don't find me interesting (or whatever :)) and that's okay.
