Random

I'm super scattered today, so this post is a bunch of little things that I've been thinking about...

Leah at the Lovely Life of Leah is a mere 5 followers away from her goal of 100. Lucky 100 will get a fantastic prize. I'm rather jealous of the goodies that lucky person will get! If you don't already follow Leah you should check her out, because (other than that awesome button):

  1. She's a thrift shopping pro
  2. She takes awesome pics, and
  3. Look what she can make (Gav is so adorable!)

I need comment help. I want to get one of the add-ins that let you have a threaded conversation in the replies. I've looked at CommentLuv and Disqus and a few others, but am not sure which to choose. Any suggestions?

My 100th post is coming up. What would you guys like to see? My back story, more about Pie's story, random facts....any and all thoughts welcome.

I'm thinking about doing some guest posts/features/blog swaps. Anyone interested? Just let me know in the comments.

I'd love to hear random off-the-wall facts about yourself or more of your back story. :) As for the commenting plug-in, DISQUS is alright but the logging in can be a bit annoying. I have a love affair with commentluv, but WordPress might have something to do with that. Thanks for the blog suggestion. I'll have to go check her out! Have a great day.

I love hearing where people "come from", so my vote is for backstory. But then again I am a very nosy person (I prefer the word "inquisitive") and like to know everything about everyone. weird, I know..

I'd be interested in reading more about your decision to adopt (what lead to it and specifically what familial/personal hurdles and ideologies you had to contend with in that decision process). And I second the blog swap/guest post/hootenanny. Pictures are good, but I'm a sucker for a well told story!

Thank you guys for the awesome suggestions. I may have to do a week of posts...100, 100b, 100c...to get all this stuff in!

I'll have to go check out Leah. Trying to catch up on all my blogs. I've been busy at work and can't find time to read!! 100th post?? That's awesome!! Of course, I'd always love to hear more about the adoption of Miss Pie.

I'm sure you've posted it before but being a fairly new follower I'd love to hear more about your journey to getting pie. What a wonderful blessing! :-)

100 posts! That's awesome - it's such a big blogging milestone. I think I just posted about 99 cent nachos at Taco Bell for my 100th post. Your ideas are much better. :-)

I talk, then you talk, and sometimes I talk back again. It's a conversation! And we can all pretend we're not internet shut-ins who never talk to anyone. Hooray!
