Ahoy Matey

My darling girl is having some issues with her eyes and as a result she has to have her eyes patched a couple of hours a day for the next two months. On odd days it's her left eye and on even her right. Fingers crossed this will be enough to help her. Wanna guess how much she likes having the patch on...

Oh, I hope the patches can resolve Pie's eye issues! I can't imagine getting Isla to keep one of those on. Thinking of you guys! xoxo
Awww, poor Pie! Manuel had eye issues starting around 3 (his one eye was intermittently crossing) so I took him to the opthalmologist and he ended up needing glasses, but there was a point in time, even with glasses, that the doctor wanted to "patch" him because his good eye was working too hard, but I knew that would never work, so instead we used drops that worked exaclty like a patch would. (Grant it, administering the drops was not a fun process, but once they were in, it was done and over with). If Pie is really resistent to the patch, you might want to ask about the drops. Just a suggestion :)

Either way, good luck! I hope the patch resolves any issues she has! :)

Oh, and just to add...the drops worked WONDERS! Although Manuel still wears glasses and probably will have to well into his child, his doctor was SO impressed with how well the drops worked! :)
Oh, Miss Pie I am right there with you. I never liked the patch either. I had to wear on for a week or two right around the time I was five. Mine was the result of some childhood stupidity that involved using a screwdriver and a shovel, but it stunk all the same. You are the cutest little pirate girl though that I ever saw. Icie and I will be thinking of you and hoping it all works out.
Oh eye issues are my worst nightmare!! I am so so sorry she had to go through this. I hope it's nothing too serious. :(
Oh, poor girl!! I've heard of people getting excellent and fast results with eye patching at this age, so I hope it's the same with Miss Pie! Sending lots of good thoughts!
Poor little girl!! I can't imagine what a pain in the butt that patch must be. I hope the patching works! I used to have an eye that would pull in, luckily it fixed itself.
My daughter started wearing her patch in kindergarten. She was legaly blind in that weak eye to start with. She wore it from kindergarten alway through 3rd grade. She now has perfect vision in that eye - thank goodness. It was a lot of work but well worth it in the long run. Hugs to beautiful, adorable Pie.
Aww, poor pie! At least her patch is cute!
Pie with a patch!! I didn't think she could get any cuter but clearly I was wrong.
I had to wear a patch when I was about 4 or 5. I had eye surgery when I was 5 to correct a major crossed eye. I hope Pie's situation isn't as intense. At least they have cute patches now! Mine was the old standard nude color - boring!
Poor baby!
