Flash...Dance...I mean fiction. Flash Fiction

So let's have some fun. Let's do some flash fiction this week.

If you're unfamiliar with flash fiction, think of it as a condensed short story. Shorter than short. The word count for flash fiction typically ranges from 100 to 2000 words.

We have two prompts for you to choose from this week...
Trapped.
or...
I truly enjoyed spending time with them. I just had to decide which of them I would kill.

And go!

Result:
She was trapped. There was no way Emily would ever be able to get out from under this sweaty, disgusting redneck. She had known that last shot of Goldschläger was a bad idea, but damn she loved the cinnamon burn. She really should just stay away from the stuff completely, because this always happened. A few drinks with the girls, turned into a few more with whoever was buying, and then the next thing she knew some gross dude was suddenly ‘The One.’

Tonight’s gross dude had flailed around on her for all of 2.7 seconds before collapsing in total exhaustion. Emily was certain that it had not been a worthwhile trade for the $4.50 shot. If he had managed to hold out for 4.8 or even 3.2 seconds, then maybe she could have written it off as breaking even. Any chance of rationalizing the encounter was instantly erased as he mumbled, “that was great, Amy,” belched directly into her face, and rolled over. “Well,” Emily thought, “at least I’m not trapped anymore.”

And just to make sure I'm not trapped (ahhh...get it...you like how I tied that in?) in the bottom, please take a second and vote.
